Our Team

Nova was born in Taiwan and moved to the U.S. in the early ’80s, spending her childhood crisscrossing the country. From a young age, she knew the West Coast was where she belonged—and in 2000, she made Portland home for good.

When she’s not curating beautiful interiors, Nova is an avid cyclist and outdoor enthusiast. Her time off is spent exploring winding trails, chasing good weather on two wheels, and discovering unforgettable food experiences wherever she goes.

She doesn’t follow trends—she follows instinct. And that instinct shows up in everything she touches: intentional, quietly bold, and built to last.

Not only is Jan a talented designer with an impeccable eye, she’s also a proud great-grandmother who brings that same warmth and creativity into every part of her life. When she’s not styling interiors or sharing her seasoned design sense, you’ll often find her in the garden, tending to her stunning collection of dahlias—each bloom as vibrant and expressive as she is.



And when it comes to sweet indulgences, Jan’s love for ice cream is legendary. Whether it’s a classic cone or a new flavor discovery, she approaches it with the same delight she brings to everything else: full-hearted and joyfully curious.

Chris has been a devoted supporter of Seams to Fit Home since day one—literally. As one of our very first shoppers, she’s been part of our story from the beginning, returning again and again with her generous spirit and thoughtful eye.



She and her husband raised five children, and now she delights in sharing everyday magic with her grandkids. Whether it’s teaching them to kick a soccer ball, jumping through puddles after the rain, or dancing in the kitchen while something simmers on the stove, Chris brings joy, movement, and heart into everything she does.

She reminds us that home isn’t just about beautiful pieces—it’s about the memories made around them.

She’s our CBO—Chief Barketing Officer—and takes her role very seriously (especially when treats are involved). Equal parts trailblazer and cuddlebug, she loves a good hike followed by a cozy nap with her mom. Whether she’s greeting guests, inspecting new inventory, or snoozing in a sunny patch of the showroom, she brings warmth, charm, and just the right amount of sass to the Seams to Fit Home team.

She’s our CBDO—Chief Barking Development Officer—and brings joy wherever she goes (often in the form of full-body wiggles). Whether she’s shadowing her big sister, offering enthusiastic greetings, or supervising inventory from a cozy corner, she does it all with tail wags and heart. Her happiness is contagious, her loyalty unmatched—and we’re pretty sure the whole showroom runs better with her around.
